Fire Safety for your Family

Make a plan to keep your family safe in the event of a fire.

SERVPRO of Jefferson City wants to be your number one emergency service for Fire & Water - Cleanup and Restoration.  We also want our customers to know how important it is to us that you are taking the proper steps keeping your families safe in the event of a fire.  There’s no time like the present to make plans for an emergency evacuation.  We’d like to offer these tips:

• Plan an escape route with your family
• Know how to exit each room
• Arrange for a meeting place outside and make sure it is away from the house
• If there is an emergency, call 911
• If you don’t have your cell phone, go to the nearest neighbor’s house to call
• Do not stay in a building that has caught on fire
• Make sure your children know your home address

Also, make sure there is a smoke detector on every floor of your home as well as a fire extinguisher.  Stay diligent in your efforts to keep your family safe.
