SERVPRO is Fast to Work after Flash Floods
8/14/2020 (Permalink)
On July 19, 2020, Jefferson City was hit with approximately five inches of severe flash flood waters, maybe better described as sludge, that produced as much as 24 inches in main level garages to just within inches of one homeowner's basement rafters. Many of these home owners lived in areas that were not declared as flood plains, so needless to say, they were caught off guard by the sudden rush of waters into their homes. As the phones of Jefferson City's SERVPRO were staying busy with customers, so too was our production team, as they next flew into action inspecting affected areas, extracting excess water and prepping the area for drying. The monitoring process begins after this and all updates are communicated to the homeowner.
